What we do ...
We provide art tuition for primary students. School holiday classes and term classes include painting, drawing and clay modeling. Adult classes are throughout the school term.

After school kids art classes - Term 2, 2026
During the school term participants explore a large range of art materials, including
graphite pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, chalk pastels, as well as watercolour, acrylic paints, and hand built pottery. Focus will be on learning new drawing skills, colour mixing, colour theory and paintbrush techniques, as well as art history references.

Easter Holiday Art Holiday Classes - 2026
Let your children indulge their creativity with 3 hour painting and pottery classes. Starting at 10am, these sessions provide a wonderful and exciting range of Easter activities which will delight all primary age children up to 14 Years. Axolotyl, the Emerald City and “Wizard of Oz” themed pottery, birds in a nest, and of course the cutest Easter Kitten or Bunny are amongst the choices.
Participants will learn colour mixing, colour theory and paint brush techniques.

Childrens Art Parties
Children of primary school age can indulge their artistic expressions at these popular 2 hour sessions. Enter an exciting studio with easels and canvases ready for painting. Any theme can be chosen, and Cheryl will customise the session to suit the age and interest of the birthday girl or boy. All materials, art aprons, trestle table and marquee are supplied. BYO napery food/birthday cake/drinks.
2 hour duration - call to book in your time.
Cost: from $300 (group of 10 children), and $430 (group up to 15 children).
Ladies Beginner Painting Classes
With Cheryl’s nurturing and gentle teaching methods, ladies can come and enjoy 2 hours of fun and creativity. Step-by-step instruction is available, OR independent learning. You can bring your own ideas, or you can be part of the lesson plan selected from 100's of topics. A4 card, easels and paints are supplied, though many bring their own materials and canvases.
Thursdays 5pm - 7pm, Fridays 10am - 12 noon.
Cost: $50pp per 2hr session
Paint and Sip
On the last Friday/Saturday of each month bring your drinks and nibbles along to a lively studio to celebrate our popular sessions. A topic is chosen and we can follow the step-by-step guidance from Cheryl’s demonstration. Private parties, birthday parties, Girl’s or Mum’s Day Out and Hen’s nights are welcome.
Canvas, easels, paints, aprons are supplied.
Last Saturday of each month 2pm - 5pm.
Last Friday of each month 6pm - 9pm.
Cost: $70pp per 3hr session.
Other times are available on request.
Private One-on-one sessions - suitable for Parent and Child or Individuals
If you prefer more individual art sessions completely customised for you, Cheryl gives you an opportunity to have private teaching. Inspiration, art materials, and times are available, please just give us a call or email a request. Children and adults are welcome to this.

Family Groups
These sessions are a wonderful time for bonding and spending special time with your loved ones - no matter what age. Children and adults and families are welcome. Inspiration, art materials and tuition supplied.

NDIS Clients
Having a wealth of experience in this area, Cheryl, with her patience and gentle manner welcomes NDIS clients and tailors a program to suit the individual.

Pottery Classes - handbuilding techniques
Discover the tranquil qualities of clay. This adventure lets you discover the many different techniques such as coil, pinch pot, slab, modelling of functional pieces and artistic sculptural works. Cheryl introduces you to these and more, including preparation of the clay (the most important step).

Cost: $50pp per 2hr session + glazing and firings
Photography Class
The course covers, how to use the camera, creativity in composition, artistic approaches to landscape and portraits, care of equipment.
4 session course with excursion.
